Talent Acquisition Specialist

White House Custom Colour is currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Eagan, MN location.

OK, but what will you actually be doing all day?


  • Oversees full lifecycle recruitment and placement activities for exempt, non-exempt, seasonal and temporary hires to fill open positions.
  • Establishes recruiting sources with outside agencies, colleges, technical schools, workforce centers etc. as needed to fill positions.
  • Managing a full cycle recruitment process using best practices including: setting goals, creating marketing and promotion strategies, screening, scheduling and interviewing candidates.
  • Conducts phone and in-person employment interviews.
  • Responds to persons inquiring about employment via phone, email, and traditional correspondence.
  • Manages recruiting materials and resources needed such as brochures and logo items.
  • Delivers a high level of customer service to both internal hiring managers and candidates.
  • Project Management for fall recruiting initiative.
  • Project Management for sourcing talent through temporary agencies
  • Oversee social recruiting initiatives.
  • Applicant Tracking System- Create job requisitions, post jobs and interact with candidates via the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Support and take action on various talent branding initiatives.
  • Create and maintain candidate files for temporary workforce and direct candidate applicants.

Staff Onboarding:

  • Assist with the continued developing and monitoring of the staff onboarding training program to ensure successful team integration.
  • Monitor training and development checklists including on-the-job orientation for daily, weekly and monthly progress.
  •  Verifies the skills and competency of staff during the first 90 days.
  • Provides individuals and/or teams with direction, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
  • Coaches and mentors staff to ensure that training is applied. Trains others to coach and mentor knowledge and skills.
  • Continuously evaluates training by gathering staff input regarding quality of training offered, Provides at least a quarterly report on staff development and training.
  • Monitors and reports on annual training compliance throughout the year.
  • Assist with post offer background checks and drug tests
  • Assist with I-9 Verification for new hires

We want you to be part of our team if you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-2 years human resource support in talent acquisition
  • 1-2 years’ experience with adult learning initiatives
